Due to different manufacturing processes, cow leather can be classified according to the characteristics after processing:

Cattle full grain leather is a product closest to the characteristics of natural original leather. It does not damage the grain surface layer in leather making, and the pores are clearly visible. The surface is not coated or lightly coated. It has natural and beautiful appearance, comfortable and breathable performance, and full and elastic feel. It belongs to high-quality cattle leather. Generally suitable for making * leather shoes.

Finishing leather of cowhide some cowhide can not be well used due to many defects. In leather making, the grain surface layer is first ground and then re coated with special chemical materials. Various animal skin pore patterns or other styles are pressed on the coating to achieve beautiful and practical effects. The strength is basically unchanged, but the hand feel and elasticity are slightly worse than that of full grain leather. It is generally suitable for making middle-grade leather shoes.

It uses the two-layer leather and three-layer leather as the base, and after grinding, a layer of polymer film with leather pattern is pasted (or sprayed) on its surface. The appearance of the leather treated in this way is similar to that of the leather modified with cowhide, but the air permeability is slightly poor. Generally suitable for making sports shoes and low-grade leather shoes. If the adhesive on the surface is thick or has a cloth based film, although it feels like cow leather, its appearance and performance are closer to synthetic leather.

The fiber layer of cow hide (two-layer) suede leather is fine fluffy after grinding. Except for dyeing, the surface is generally not subject to any finishing processing. Therefore, it has good air permeability, but it is easy to absorb dust when worn outside and is not resistant to oil stain.

The surface of cow leather is coated with a mirror like smooth and highly reflective paint layer.

After special processing, cow hide oil soaked leather has strong oil property, good durability and sufficient surface oil property. Generally, the leather body is soft and it is not easy to use shoe polish.

There are two different color coatings on the surface of cow hide with two-color effect leather. Generally, the light color is in the lower layer and the dark color is in the surface layer. It can be seen as one color at first glance, and the second color can be seen after bending. After wearing for a period of time, the color of the surface layer will be gradually worn off and the light color part will be gradually exposed, resulting in a two-color effect and a natural feeling.
